Experience the wonderful world of dance at an inclusive dance school founded by the highly accomplished and qualified Rosa Filippello. With her team of only the best instructors, their aim is to provide a service second to none.
Arkady & Rosa
In 2006, Arkady Bakenov and Rosa Filippello teamed up and together began a very exciting and successful career. Their dancing took them to many countries around the world where they competed, taught, lectured and demonstrated. They worked with, and built strong friendships with top coaches and other competitors around the world.
In 2009 and 2010 Arkady and Rosa won the Australian Amateur Latin Championship and in 2015 and 2016 they were thrilled to win the Australian Professional Latin Championship.
2016 saw their most prestigious competition wins, the Professional Rising Star at The United Kingdom and British Championships (Blackpool).
They also have All England, New Zealand and Asia Pacific Championships to their name.
At World Championships they represented New Zealand, United Kingdom and Australia on many occasions.
After being based overseas for many years Rosa is delighted to be back home and is busy training the 'up and coming' champions in Perth. She is also dedicated behind the scenes being on the committee of DanceSport Western Australia, Education and Development and the WA Open Championship.
2018 saw the launch of her rhinestone brand ‘Flawless Crystals’ and in 2022 Rosa and her business partner Riley White opened a dance studio 'The Regent Ballroom' in Northbridge.
In her family life Rosa is the proud mother of two.
